UK Ageing Network (UKAN) : An interdisciplinary ageing research community

• ATTAIN is one of the networks drawn together by UKANet out of 11 other UK-wide ageing research networks to facilitate knowledge exchange, forge new collaborative links and enable novel research across all academic disciplines, with the aim of improving health and wellbeing for older adults.

• Bringing together researchers and stakeholders from different disciplines to better understand the biological mechanisms of ageing and their impact on human health, and to promote development of approaches to improve health across the life course and reduce health inequalities which impact on healthy ageing.
